Monica A. Williams

Monica is a graduate of Maryland College of Art and Design (1987), where she earned an Associate of Art Degree in Visual Communications, having produced several award-winning pieces. Acknowledged by faculty and local city officials.  Monica began work with an event materials firm in the area of Silver Spring, MD

After several years Monica relocated to Atlanta, GA. She began a position with the Big 5 Accounting Firm, Arthur Andersen LLP (1993) producing high-end graphics for the company.   Through her 10-year career with the firm, as she advanced up the ranks to head the graphics department producing multi-million dollar packages and event support material. She acquired managerial duties beyond design arena.  As the technology advisor on new equipment and beta testing of proposed purchases, as well as hiring and department quality control officer. She was also the technical administrator for the Atlanta division of the company, making her directly responsible for hardware and software technical support to over 20 employees.  Culminating in the responsibility for establishing satellite office graphics departments, equipment purchase, staffing, and training for graphic and design employees of the South East Region (13 states).

Monica established the company MAW Designs in 2002. A freelance graphic design firm specializing in preparing start up companies for marketing and web presence opportunities. All aspects from logo design thru international expansion.
